Some Cool WordPress Themes I Used
Most of us use WordPress as the blogging platform of choice. Not just for blogging, but for actual business and ecommerce websites. WordPress has evolved and so did the template designers, now there are themes for everything starting from already mentioned ecommerce websites to portfolio and photography sites. The best part about these themes is that they are not just a mask; they deliver everything needed to have a successful niche website from shopping carts and amazing photography galleries and slideshows to multifunctional business options that can simply be called “all in one package”.
I have worked in several niches for my own personal websites and hundreds of others regarding my clients, on some we did modifications, a few were created from scratch and I always go for easy to use themes that are easy on the eyes and on the server. So this is just my observation, but in my experience there are only a few massive template designer that deserve a mention and those are Elegant Themes, Theme Forest, Woo Themes and of course DIY Themes.
I’m sorry if I forgot to mention anyone, but these are the ones from the top of my mind. I use their themes all the time and I am really satisfied. Now, some of these themes can be a bit tricky to setup at first to make them look and feel like you want, but trust me, they are all worth the effort.
This is the Godfather of all WordPress themes, the one theme to rule them all, and my personal favorite. Thesis theme can be customized any way you want, they have built a platform theme that can easily be updated, upgraded, modified, edited, dragged to the mud and after everything come out like a prom queen. I simply can’t express my adoration and gratitude to the people that made Thesis.
Elegant Themes are top of the line themes if you are looking for a business or a company theme, they are simply the best. I have used at least dozen of their themes and the one that caught my eye was definitively The Corporation theme. This is a perfect theme for a business website, easy to use, easy on the eye, simple does the selling on its own, and customization is a piece of cake. Of course as you can notice LightBright theme also caught my eye, as this is the theme that is powering my blog at the moment.
One thing that can certainly be said for Woo Themes is that they are the kings of creativity; they have the best looking themes out there. If you want something flashy or something beautiful yet simple they are your choice, especially if you are looking for a personal blog or a news theme, but they have a solid number of business themes as well. My top of the line theme by Woo Themes is Mainstream, which is by the way FREE. This is a great theme for a personal blog, fast loading and easy on the eye. Of course if you are looking for something more eye catching than there is the irresistible Irresistible Theme.
Theme Forest is well known template website, and I think they have the biggest choice of WordPress themes, so when in doubt and not sure just browse their massive gallery and you will certainly find something you like. What I found was something amazing yet incredibly multifunctional, and that is Kassyopea All in One Theme featuring a business theme or an ecommerce theme, which ever you choose.
It is really hard to pick the best, I’m sure if I looked a bit harder at least one of my choices here would change, there are just so many great themes these days. The most important part is that you find a theme that is easily customized, SEO ready (they mostly are) and that is eye catching and fast loading, so happy hunting.
